With a frequency range of 5–35,000 Hz and a nominal SPL of 96 dB, they provide a balanced and detailed sound. The dynamic transducers have a high power handling capability of 100 mW and negligible distortion. The circumaural ear cups provide a comfortable fit and about 18 dBA of ambient noise isolation. With a baseline pressure of around 3.5 N, the adjustable headband guarantees a secure and snug fit. For compatibility with various audio devices, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohm Over-Ear Studio Headphone have a gold-plated small stereo jack connector (3.5 mm) and a 1/4" converter (6.35 mm). The 3-meter long coiled cable enables for flexibility and movement in the studio.
